Now and again we like to look backwards and pluck things from our archive. Some stuff is timeless isn’t it? Take John Shuttleworth for example. He’s seemingly never been a young man but equally he’s not aged has he? With that in mind we’ve decided to publish an interview we did with the great man a full seven and a half years ago.

As fans of Ian Paley for many a year we watched with interest when One True Saxon rose and were warmed by the emergence of his Garbstore label. And now we’ve just been given the heads up on a rather smart new flight jacket he has designed for Garbstore, in conjunction with Lewis Leathers.

So much for Summer eh? What a suprise, it’s been wetter than an otter’s pocket. We think we’ve found the ideal jacket to cope with the inevitable seasonal downpours whilst still retaining a nice summer vibe by way of this ace fishing jacket from Fred Perry.

Much as we hate the term eclectic, that’s pretty much the only way to describe our musical tastes at Proper, from classic folk through to the latest stuff that hasn’t even got a name yet, we like a bit of everything and love trawling the web for something to tap our (immaculately be-decked) feet to.
