What can you say about the Superstar that hasn’t already been said? For me the shell-toe has several pivotal places in my footwear past, from seeing Run DMC step on stage (at Live Aid) in them to helping me through the acid retro mayhem that was Manchester in 1989/90 to finding a rather fetching dark green pair some time around 2002 that totally re-ignited my love for the vulcanised, rubber-toed beauties and adi trainers.
