Like something a Tusken Raider would wear to Boxercise, these new Asics x Monkey Time Gel Lyte II are probably the only gold-coloured item of footwear I’ve ever truly liked. To be fair, they’re more sand coloured, which is to their credit.
Star Wars/Keep-fit comparisons aside, they’re really nice, made from Pigskin and available now from Hanon, Wellgosh, End and Footpatrol.
