Brutus Trimfit, British Illustrators Project

Good news emerging artists/legendary shirt fans, to celebrate the various British shenanigans happening this year Brutus Trimfit have launched the ‘British Illustrators Project’. They’ve commissioned several talented young British artists to reflect their interpretation of this plucky English label by drawing images directly onto their famous shirts. The images featured here are by artist Arran Gregory’s who describes his work as ‘a battle between maximalism and minimalism’ which we think means though his stuff is beautifully drawn and really detailed you don’t need to be Brian Sewell to appreciate it. In fact why don’t you just watch this cool video of Arran shot by Henry Edwards-Wood to find out what’s really going on.
