You’d be forgiven for thinking that Canada Goose jackets are all about planet Hoth style temperatures and the kind of jacket you grab prior to hopping out of a chopper and onto some Arctic tundra to do a quick piece to camera about the mating habits of polar bears. And yes they are great for all that proper cold weather stuff but they also do a nice line in performance meets luxury wear for the warmer months. A fine example of which is the Alderwood Shell a slim fitting, hip length jacket that’s just been released and is the ideal kind of kit for your spring and summer jaunts out, as it neatly packs away into it’s own front pocket to be stowed away until it starts raining (again). It’s also made from laminated Bi-Durance. 5 shell which is an extremely lightweight, breathable and waterproof fabric and with all Canada Goose gear there’s loads of other high spec attention to detail for those of you who like to geek out on stuff like suede tricot-lined collars and YKK 2-way Vislon zippers.
