I do think that the prince of POPaganda Ron English has really captured the zeitgeist here, as there’s never been a better time to release a book dedicated to joining the choir invisible. As 2016 may have been a terrible year to be a celebrity it’s proved a pretty healthy one if you’re an artist who believes that death is where pretty much all of art’s meaning comes from. So you can expect a surprisingly joyous book that features a collection of his surrealist street-art masterpieces as well as his incredible sculptures and vinyl figures all of which are of a deathly persuasion throughout it’s 176 colourfully cadaverous pages. I really need to get my hands on one of those skeletal Teletubbies.
