I last had a Varsity jacket in 1992. It was blue in the body and red in the arms. It was superb. It also bore the Stockport County badge. I was about 14. They were strange times for both me and for fashion. We had the adidas factory on our doorstep. It was inevitable I’d end up sportswear mad. But these days most sportswear feels wrong. Not this though.
If you’re after something reasonably priced and from a brand with genuine YOO ESS AY provenance then you really need not look any further than this. It’s understated enough for you not to look like a stocky, hairy old melv attempting to be a bit hipster. Yes, I’m going to have a think about this.
