Keen readers of this website will remember my recent mid-life motorcycle crisis brought on the immense images of bikes within ‘the Ride’ book. Well part two of this two-wheeled epiphany has just arrived in my inbox via a full throttle collaboration between one of my favourite denim brands Edwin and Parisian customisation garage Blitz. It’s a bold collection in predominantly biker black kit that’s ideal for a wintry road trip on your favourite route, speaking of which Edwin hooked up with Stewarts to produce the most important piece of this collab, the S.E.B. (Stewart, Edwin, Blitz) Motorcycle jacket. Handmade in Italy using the finest horsehide and modelled on 1970s racing jackets with a beautifully lined inner featuring a map of Paris with Blitz founders Fred & Hugo’s daily route drawn on it. OK that’s the outfit sorted, next stop a pair of road-worthy boots (oh yeah and a bike).
