When Paul McCartney made this record.. he must of been on acid. If you havent heard it… it is the best record ever made. Paul combines elements of hip hop, Krautrock, Dub, and psychedelic rock, to create a experimental pop record that boggles minds even til this day.
Matthew Barney Cremaster Cycle. Matthew Barney was the first artist that I really could relate to. His mixture of video, sculture, painting, and installation art defines our multi media culture of todays generation. Cremaster Cycle also deals with heady topics like sexuality, initiation into manhood, and restraint in the most beautiful way.
I am obsessed my friend Shin Okuda’s furniture. He has a studio called Waka Waka where he creates post modern furniture in a new tasteful way. I now own about 5 of his pieces and all I want to do is buy more of his work. Nowadays I am mostly inspired by furniture design when make my collections.
