We’ve already written about Garbstore recently. Twice to be exact. I could link up both articles but then you’d click those links and be taken away from this page. I’ll not do that. Not this time anyway.
Lots of bases touched for this season. Sporty but nice. Workwear for the workshy. There’s even a pic further down this page where the model is wearing what appear to be leopardskin print leggings. Like an extra from Rita, Sue and Bob Too. I’m willing to wager nobody has referred to that iconic 80s film when talking about Garbstore. I visited the place that film was set a couple of weeks ago. Nobody in Bradford wears this sort of gear. This is a good thing.
Last time I spoke to the brains behind the brand, Ian Paley told me he spent a lot of time out of the country and this shows in the latest collection. Accessible without being boring and plain, and giddy without looking like the dressing up box from a world music convention. Yes, I like Garbstore. I like it a lot.
You can get it in a number of places, but their own website is a good place to start. Their shop in Notting Hill is ace too. You should go there. And soon.
