Garbstore.ten launches in Seven Dials

Last week the Proper posse were lucky enough to be swathed in gin & tonics and surrounded by amazing clothing and footwear at the launch event for Garbstore.ten, without a doubt one of the finest menswear shops to ever grace our glorious capital. Set in the heart of Covent Garden the shop is a physical celebration of the past decade since Garbstore have been around. Alongside a plethora of amazing and hard to track down brands such as Chums and Say Hello there’s also a collaborative capsule collection of tees, hoodies and tack pants Garbstore have done with LA label ‘Surf is Dead’ that’s housed in the basement and surrounded by an eye-catching London call-girl cards wallpaper. you’ll also find in the basement a rotating showcase of archive pieces from the the brand’s long term partner Reebok. The cherry on the Garbstore birthday cake thugh is the Decade Tee collection they’ve done with the likes of Brain Dead and Michael Koppelman with a percentage of their proceeds being donated to the refuge crisis charity. It’s a phenomenal retail space tastefully stocked with highly desirable kit that reflects exactly why Ian Paley has been just so successful over the past ten years. Apparently there’s even more cool stuff in the pipeline too, so keep your eyes peeled and make sure you pop in for a mooch the next time you’re in WC2.
