Check this out. Glasgow based watchmakers INSTRMNT have collaborated with Sheffield’s finest, Mamnick, to produce this special timepiece.
This is a real meeting of minds and shared beliefs. Both parties put their own personal desires and love for quality design over the need to fit in with seasonal trends or tapping into the mass market.
The ‘01 MNK’ takes inspiration from INSTRMNT’s typically minimalist aesthetic and the Mamnick love of exploring the outdoors. It is very much fuss-free and the complete antithesis to the gaudy faces you see in high street jeweller’s windows; a real class above many options that prospective present givers might be thinking of sourcing for you this Christmas.
The pointed hands are a nod to the Peak District hills, which are represented in Mamnick’s logo, and are complimented by a contrasting brass second hand; standing out clearly on the white face, akin to a traditional compass face; leaning on Thom, the Mamnick gaffer’s, love for travel and exploration.
Each individually numbered, 1/150 watch comes in a special presentation box and can be ordered via the Mamnick website now.
