Levi’s Vintage Clothing – The People Who’ve Made Denim

WhiteOakMills-0705

If you think you know all about denim then check out this crew and then give your head a massive wobble. Because you my friend know nothing about jeans compared to Mildred “Mickey” Bole and the gang. Mildred is a weaver who spent no less than 55 years at the White Oak Cone Mills who can be seen above standing in front of the very same tree that the legendary mill is named after. In fact Mildred’s photo is part of a series of shots featuring the talented folk behind the world’s most famous denim factory created by LVC to celebrate the 100 year long relationship between Levi’s and Cone Mills. Can you imagine the kind of ace gear that this lot must have sitting around at home between them? Loads of vintage denim that’s been worn to absolute perfection whilst actually making more denim! Right I’m popping round Mildred’s on the off chance that she’s a 34 waist, anyone know the best way to get to Greensboro?
