When it comes to iconic tennis shoes that still somehow look as fresh and exciting as they did when first served up back during the glory days of Wimbledon then the Diadora B. Elite really takes some beating. This Friday sees the long-awaited released of a premium ‘made in Italy’ version available in it’s original 1980s silver/white colourway alongside a gold/white version. For me the B. Elite (yes I know what the B stands for) is up there with the Stan Smith in terms of it’s classic design and also being wearable with pretty much anything with the added bonus of being unashamedly Italian despite the Swedish sports star associations. Both pairs will be available from Hip store this Friday (26.02.16).

What a great old pair of trainers. Always liked the stuff I used to see at Wimbledon such as McEnroe’s Nikes and Borg Elites. Also liked Jimmy Connors’ Converse but I never managed to get a pair, you couldn’t find them anywhere. Good to see these back.
