Newfangle‘s prime Portuguese panoply just gained another piece, packed with precision.
The Tavira shirt is made in Newfangle‘s native Portugal and takes its name from a city and municipality, situated in the east of the Algarve on the south coast of Portugal. It is 28 kilometres east of Faro and 177 kilometres west of Seville in Spain. The Gilão River meets the Atlantic Ocean in Tavira.
I definitely didn’t copy and paste that from Wikipedia.
Enough about the origins of its name though, this is an impressive shirt, ideal for if you’re invited to a wedding, but only the evening bit. Smart enough so you don’t look anything like scruffy, but casual enough to show you’re not getting above your station. 100% cotton and with all the attention to detail which is becoming a hallmark of Newfangle items.
And yeah, I did have to google the meaning of ‘panoply’, just in case.
See more shots here and ideally, buy one.
