Our scandomanical obsession has just gone nuclear by way of Norse Projects impressive AW13 drop. Though featuring some signature pieces the brand has evolved their minimalist x functionality outlook to incorporate three concepts; Technical, formal and casual, all made from the best materials and with everyday living in mind. Though it’s all top stuff (especially the AMerican selvedge denim) it’s the technical stuff which really stands out as an exciting new move from the preppy Danes. Though very much still ‘Norse’ the tech gear features waterproof materials, breathable shell fabrics, recylced fleecey Polartec, lightweight down, Primaloft thermal insulation and Coolmax jersey layers. I don’t think theres a piece in this collection that I wouldn’t happily wear to death. Nice one Denmark.
