I’ve always loved a bit of Burgundy, especially paired with a nice robust cheese, it also goes pretty well with goose too, well goose feathers. Sorry that was me crowbarring my way into this feature about the sublime wine coloured kit that Crescent Down Works have made for Parra. These sensational and snuggly jackets continue with Parra’s colour scheme on the inside and also feature the Dutch artist’s inimitable artwork on the rather fetching arm patches. Having seen a purple jacket yesterday based on the colour of the old Silk Cut adverts it feels to me like there’s some new hues knocking about in the world of menswear at the mo. It’s only a matter of days before we’ll be talking about mustard smocks and avocado jeans on here.
