In these times of nasty fellas somehow getting people to vote for them, it’s nice that there’s a progressive yet popular example in the shape of Patagonia. Their synchilla fleece was pretty groundbreaking when it appeared back in the early 80s. While other companies used actual chinchilla fur, a synthetic brushed polyester which had been developed a few years earlier was adopted by Patagonia.
