Celebrating their 80th year of expert artistry and Japanese craftsmanship Yoshida & Co’s Porter brand whose mission statement is to put their “Heart and Soul into every stitch”.
So as part of Porter’s anniversary celebrations they’ve developed a very special, limited edition range. The Orange Tanker, a reworking of their renowned Tanker line which was first released in 1983 and remains their most popular to this day. Developed in the image of the classic MA-1 Flight Jacket, the range consists of close to fifty styles, in either black or military green constructed in Japan with three layers, nylon twill, polyester cotton and nylon taffeta. Looking just like the kind of space-age kit that you’d see in Kubrick’s 2001 the Orange Tanker line gives the collection a zesty injection of colour by flipping the MA-1’s inner orange lining onto the bags’ exterior. Available this SS15 (from End & Oki-Ni), the Orange Tanker features eight styles including the signature Rucksack.
