Private White VC – Corduroy Workwear Jacket

Maybe it’s our close geographical ties, what with Corduroy being known as ‘the Manchester cloth’ but for our money there are few other materials that can hold a candle to a nice bit of cord when it comes to the perfect marriage of ‘look and feel’. Speaking of Manchester and it’s velvety cotton namesake, local label Private White VC have just created an impressive workwear jacket in our aforementioned favourite bit of Manc textile, using 100% cotton sourced from a local Lancashire mill.

Featuring Swiss Riri zips on four of the six handy pockets, this is just the kind of autumnal staple than will hold its own whether paired with a battered pair of jeans and a nice chunky jumper or something a whole lot smarter involving shirts, chinos and if you’re really trying to impress even a tie (as pictured). Another really nice touch is the detachable brown buttons that can be swapped for a range of other optional colours that PWVC can supply you with, should you wish to jazz your jacket up a little.
