When I was a kid, the land of the Rising Sun was just behind a pub of the same name, near Carpet World where the 192 left every 11 minutes for Manchester Piccadilly. Now I’m officially a grown up it has slightly different connotations.
Son of The Cheese is a brand I first spied just this morning on the train, via the Go Out facebook feed. Further inspection has typically yielded not very much in the way of information, but what I have found, I really like. From what I can make out, the whole concept isn’t hemmed in by convention. It’s a hang out space, a shop, a lifestyle, a bar, a place to get your lunch. I need to go there, and soon.
Check them out and if you buy anything, tell them I saw it first.
