Stutterheim SS17

I love how Swedish brand Stutterheim despite having lots of fresh new colours and designs featured in their SS17 collection are still determined to celebrate their country’s melancholic vibe. As well as keeping it dark, 1980s sci-fi classics Blade Runner and Dune also have a hand to play in this latest collection as head designer Patric Wallertz has used both films as inspiration for this season’s colour palette and it’s dropped shouldered ‘boxy’ look. Keeping with the sci-fi theme Stutterheim have also developed two new materials including a lighter weight version of their rubberised cotton as well as a lightweight waterproof and breathable coated cotton. both of which are ideally suited to spring and summer climates as well as chasing after replicants and heading out to score some melange.
