This capsule collection from Copenhagen’s Wood Wood and the mighty Barbour from South Shields proves that it’s great rather than grim up North, when it comes to collaborations. To celebrate their 10th anniversary they’ve teamed up with Barbour to create an entire range of Jackets, sweats, shirts and accessories full of Northern magic. It’s all very impressive though the stand out pieces for me include the Bedale with an exposed zip in order to make that iconic ring-pull zipper, the nautical but very, very nice Kilde and Amager jackets and the sweat with the B in the Barbour logo tilted upwards in suitably a Northerly direction. There’s not a bad piece in this collection, I love it all and I’m even more excited than I already was about those other Barbour collabs happening next year.
The collection will be available exclusively at woodwood.com and Wood Wood stores on September 9. END clothing will launch the collection in store and online on September 16, and it will then be available to purchase from Barbour.com and selected stockists from September 23.
