This version keeps things spotless thanks to a clever resin-coated upper, designed to fend off scuffs and dirt that will no doubt seek to ruin your day as we head into autumn.
This treatment also means you can doodle and customise the shoes without permanently ruining them, as they’ll wipe clean.
The shoes even come in custom packaging, throwing a nod to classic detergent brands with nostalgic logos and slogans. It’s the type of creative thinking we love here at Proper.
The name comes from a story we were previously unaware of, despite having read the book and written about the Dassler brothers many times over. Adi and Rudi were apparently known locally as the “Laundry Boys” in their early years, as they used to run a wash service before going global with their footwear.
