Reflective stuff can be a bit gimmicky sometimes, remember when people were wearing fully reflective raincoats in like 2018? Look like a traffic cone for the first couple of days, until the reflective coating starts to crack and peel off, then you’re left looking like a scaffolder who works for a company that doesn’t like buying them new gear. Other times though reflective detailing can be done very well, it perfectly appeals to the inner child in us who wanted light-up shoes, without going over the top, and of course, it has the benefit of reducing your risk of getting hit by an automobile.
Award-winning bag manufacturers Db have recently unveiled a new collection, and you’ll be happy to hear that it falls into the second category of reflective gear. For the collection Db has given three styles of backpack a reflective overhaul, meaning you can have all the visibility of a Deliveroo rider, without actually being mistaken for one.
The three styles of backpack that have been selected are the Ramverk, Hugger and Roamer Duffel, ranging in litreages from 20 to 30, which is a lot of Dr Pepper when you think about it. The imagery for the campaign looks like it could come from a techy Mission Impossible sequel, if the mission was to cross the road safely.
