Aries work with North London club to produce Arsenal Faithful collection

If you’re one of those blokes that often says ‘the game’s gone’ you’re probably not going to like this. Another football team has done a fashion collaboration, and it’ll probably come as no surprise to you that it’s not Hereford F.C – it’s AR-SUH-NAL.

Arsenal and Aries have joined forces to produce a pretty tasteful-looking collection that’s special for several reasons. Firstly it’s Arsenal’s first-ever independent streetwear partnership and also it’s Aries’ first foray into the Premier League. Arsenal has been heralded as the UK’s most fashionable football team by some, and while this might add weight to that claim, we still think that title belongs to Farsley Celtic.

Of all the top-flight sides to work with we reckon that Arsenal is a pretty fitting team for Aries to choose, obviously, they’re very good, and the team at the minute is somewhat likeable. Which is a good thing, because they’re the ones modelling the collection.

As for the collaboration itself, the North London side’s heritage has been blended with Aries’ streetwear know-how, silhouettes have been re-imagined and dedicated to Gooners around the world. The whole collection comes in at a whopping 26 pieces, with everything from tracksuits and graphic tees to jewellery and football shirts.

Although no one at Proper HQ supports the Gunners, we’ve all agreed that there are a few nice bits, namely the navy wool bomber jacket. Items from the collection are adorned with cannons and the number 1886, the club’s founding year.

As we said, Arsenal have made sure to cram in as many players as possible to model for the campaign, with Odegaard, Russo, Saka, Rice and Beth Mead all making an appearance. Thoughtfully they’ve also included what they’re crowning the ‘Arsenal Faithful’ to be photographed in the garb, basically a handful of loyal Arsenal supporters.

Although we’re not Arsenal fans, we are a fan of this collection, so we can imagine that all the Arsenal fans in the world are going to be pretty excited by this. If they walk away not having won anything this season, at least they’ll be screaming at their telly’s’ in a rather nice-looking football shirt.
