Although there might be snow coating the ground outside we’re already beginning to daydream about the warmer seasons, and the latest news from Goldwin regarding their Spring / Summer collection seeks to remind us that this far-off oasis of sunshine may not be that far-off after all.
For their newly announced SS25 collection, Goldwin are doing things a bit different to usual, by dividing the collection into two distinct categories, Performance and Lifestyle.
The Performance category, as its name suggests deals with all things performance – waterproof membranes, futuristic insulations, durable water repellents – all the good stuff that we’re not all that clued up on. The design centres around providing comfort and support for a selection of active pursuits.
Lifestyle, on the other hand, fuses Goldwin’s design prowess & “DEDICATION TO DETAIL” mantra with relaxed and comfortable silhouettes that are just as good for layering beneath the Performance gear as they are for knocking about town in the Spring sunshine we’re all so desperate for.
To showcase all the lovely new gear, Goldwin has drafted a group of individuals who actively engage in both natural and urban environments to demonstrate the emotional impact of these contrasting settings whilst highlighting the functionality and design of the products that enable these experiences.
The immediately noticeable activities tailored to the Performance category are hiking & running, with a fine selection of lightweight and techy-looking gear adorning the models.
Obviously, this is only a first glance at the collection but we’d like to have it known that we’re big into it – the cuts, colours and choice of silhouettes are all fantastic and importantly, very Goldwin.
