Gramicci is a brand that has long had an association with one type of garment. Pants.
Obviously, this fame in the pants-sphere comes for good reason, their legwear is hardwearing, comfortable and above all, looks good.
But we reckon there’s another type of garment that Gramicci execute expertly well, and it just happens to be for the polar opposite end of your body.
Hats. For your head.
That’s right, we reckon Gramicci know their way around a hat as good as any other brand out there, and what’s more, they’re not afraid to push the boat towards the side of the headwear lake where things get a bit weird – mad shapes, patterns, mesh vents, fleece lined ear flaps – you name it, Gramicci have probably implemented it into some headgear throughout their rich history.
There are often arguments about whether a jacket or trainers are the most important part of a person’s outfit, and for what it’s worth, we’d like to see headwear being thrown into this conversation. A mad-looking dome protector can make or break an outfit, and with Gramicci’s offerings it’s most certainly going to be the former.
To celebrate Gramicci’s dedication to cap craftsmanship, we’re going to observe some of the finest scalp coverers available from them right now, and you’ll be pleased to hear that because of this being written during the absolute worst month of the year, many of them are on sale.

Gramicci Long Bill Cap
What’s better than a regular cap? A long bill cap and Gramicci are fully aware of this. Originally designed for fishermen, the long-billed brother of the baseball cap can now be worn by anyone wanting to look cool or have complete protection from that big yellow orb in the sky we so rarely see.

Gramicci Thermal Beanie
We’re a big fan of this style of fleecy and fold-less beanie, it’s very ’90s skiwear and is most certainly qualified to keep your head from going cold on the miserable commute to, and from work in the perpetual January darkness.

Gramicci Nylon Bucket
Proper explorer vibes this. Something Attenborough would wear on a trip to the Amazon in 1983. Big into that brown colour and the webbing belt, as well. If you go to a lot of festivals or are into wildlife conservation, this is the one for you.

Gramicci x and Wander JQ Tape Fleece
We do not recommend this hat for those of you who like eating lollipops and then rubbing your sticky hands on your head.

Gramicci Nylon Cap
Getting the basics right is the key to creating good conceptual headwear, and Gramicci have proved their worth through this Nylon Cap. Lovely colours, good shape, nice ribbing around the bill – doing enough, but not too much. Ideal daily wearer.

Gramicci x Adsum O.G Hockey Touque
This mad jacquard number comes as the result of Gramicci’s latest collaboration with Adsum, and although all the gear the duo made was great, in our mind this Hockey hat stole the show.

Gramicci Berklay Cap
It’s a bit militant this cap, and that’s why we like it. It’s got an edge. Does the person wearing it go hunting for small animals while wearing night vision goggles, or are they just a Northern Quarter enjoyer? Whatever the answer, they’re looking good doing it.

Gramicci x thisisneverthat Ombre Knit Bucket Hat
Closing out the list with the maddest of them all. So mad that it looks as if it would be just as good a tea cosy as it would a hat. We take our hat off to anyone that can pull this hat off.
