JJJJound and Descente have dropped the second chapter of their collaboration, which refines the art of winter dressing with a line-up of advanced outerwear designed to handle modern city life with aplomb.
Chapter two of the collection centres itself around a monochromatic black palette accented by stormy blues— a moody nod to Chapter One’s softer shades— the collection delivers what it promises: cold-weather armour with a sophisticated twist.
The offering is compact but potent, headlined by a weather-resistant shell jacket, matching shell pants for full-body protection, and a sleek, elongated shell coat that blends technical finesse with a sleek silhouette.
The shell jacket succinctly mixes black panels with pops of storm blue located on the frontal zip, hood drawstrings, and armpit panels. Subtle off-white JJJJound branding can be seen on the left side of the jacket, with DESCENTE appearing on the right sleeve.
The matching shell pants mimic the styling of the jacket and when combined produce a belting and highly waterproof tracksuit, you could probably venture through an automatic car wash without springing a leak, and if JJJJound or DESCENTE fancy sending us a set, we’re more than happy to put that theory to the test.
Alongside the waterproof set is the more refined long, collared shell coat, which sort of looks like something Inspector Gadget would wear if he was into hydrostatic heads instead of highly niche gadgets that come out of his head.
