Saucony release new colourways of ProGrid Omni 9 Armor

The Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 is a true all-rounder. The perfect everyday trainer. Ever since it was first released back in 2010, we’ve been all over it.

Our enthusiasm about the understated silhouette comes as it’s one of those rare models that looks natural in any and every scenario – mooching round town, watching football, going to the pub, you could probably even wear an all-black pair to a funeral without raising too many questions.

Anyway, you get the idea, we’ve been big into the ProGrid Omni 9, and the recent announcement of three new colourways has only fuelled this passion.

The new colours on offer are matte green, matte grey and matte black. No nonsense, no fancy business, and that’s why they’re so great. They’re not doing too much, whilst definitely doing enough.

The paint jobs aren’t the only new things about this release though, as Saucony has also added a set of rubberised armour overlays, a feature originally revealed to the public through a collaboration with the Parisian streetwear brand, Starcow.

There’s not much more to it, and as we said, that’s why they’re so good. No frills. No messing about.

The ProGrid Omni 9 Armor is now available from Saucony.
