Topologie release SS25 ‘City Strolling’ Drop 1

Climbers seem to have a bit of a habit for creating brands that produce very nice gear – Isamu Tatsuno & Montbell and Yvon Chouinard & Patagonia – just to name a couple.

The most recent addition to this illustrious list is French brand, Topologie, founded by rock-climbing enthusiast Carlos Granon. Since its birth in 2018, Topologie has rapidly ascended in the world of bags, largely thanks to its hardwearing design ethos that utilizes straps made from climbing rope.

Off the back of opening their flagship UK store last November, the brand has launched into this year with a range of functional bags coming as part of their SS25 collection.

Drop 1 showcases a host of delightful portable carrying devices, and whatever your haulage requirements are, Topologie have got you covered. There are bags for work, school, cycling, skateboarding. Basically, they’ve got a bag for just about everything.

If you’re not clued up on how Topologie and their Topologie Wares System works, we’ll give you the rundown… First, you select the bag, then you select the strap to combine it with. Sounds easy, but with there being over 120 styles of straps it can quickly turn into a pretty challenging task, in the best kind of way, of course.

For the first instalment of SS25, the brand has brought back an array of favourite styles, as well as introduced some new ones. As much as we’d like to spout bag-related jargon like ‘Sacoche’ and ‘8.0mm Braided O-Rope’ at you for the next five minutes, you’re much better off just heading over to Topologie and perusing the collection for yourself.
