Manchester is a city that is constantly changing, and nowhere is this change more prominent than the North of the city centre, an area that has proudly housed our base of operations since 2016. Over the last nine years, Ancoats and its adjacent Northern Quarter have changed massively, what was once a mostly unloved wasteland has since turned into a hive of activity, where you’re much more likely to encounter a bottle of natural wine than white lightening.
We’ve become pretty attached to our beloved digs, and have always got our ear to the ground for anything exciting taking place on its now nicely paved streets – somehow though, we recently missed something very exciting happening right on our doorstep…
The Gander Spring Summer 2025 campaign.
Now, the lot at Gander must be quieter than the mice that once inhabited the Northern Quarter because they’ve managed to shoot the collection without so much as us having a whiff.
The shoot itself details a selection of Gander’s finest gear adorning a duo of models patrolling North Manchester’s aptly rain-soaked streets in and around Stevenson Square. The collection sees Gander bringing back classic silhouettes such as the Peveril Jacket and Castle Shorts and refreshing them through the addition of some new paint jobs that stand out against the unmistakably grey streets.
A first for this season is a pinstriped duo consisting of a collared shirt and lengthy shorts, which have both been designed in typical Gander fashion (relaxed fits, and very nice fabrics)
Accompanying these eye-catching pieces is an understated but uber comfy looking sweat set.
Gander is undoubtedly Manchester, evidenced by the referential naming of their products and location of their campaign imagery – we can’t help but love it.
Gander’s SS25 collection is available to purchase now from Gander.
