We’d been promised this for a while and now it’s here. Oi Polloi has risen like a slightly dishevelled phoenix from the ashes of what used to be. This collection is made up of items synonymous with Oi Polloi down the years, in fact it’s essentially based on Nige’s wardrobe I reckon. It’s well Oi Polloi. Indeed, those models may well be related to him and it’s easy for anyone with a penchant for coats to trace the roots of items like the Scafell Pike jacket.
Mostly available for pre-order, with delivery in June, this rebirth comes – somewhat inexplicably via a website called Silver Raven, presumably a precursor of the return of oipolloi.com. We’ll try and find out. Might even get a word with Nige on the whole thing, even if he’s still largely in the wind and sans mobile phone.
