‘Sierra with Black Coffee and Indian Tan’ may sound like a rare collaborative performance you’re looking forward to at one of this summer’s festivals, but alas, there is no such duo. Not to my knowledge anyway. It’s actually a reference to this new and very necessary iteration of New Balance’s future classic, the Allerdale.
Made in UK, these quietly scream “buy me and wear me to the pub” in a very niche Cumbrian accent, sounds a bit Geordie but isn’t. You know the one. I asked New Balance for a pair of these in return for this here coverage but the answer was a disappointing one, which only made me want them more.
