Summer Sale picks from SEVEN STORE

Summertime is truly challenging on the old wallet. Everyone on social media seems to either be on holiday, in a beer garden, at a nice restaurant, or somehow all three at the same time. The relative abundance of sunshine brings with it a period of freedom – freedom for our pale legs & freedom for our ever-shrinking bank balances.

And now, things have just got even harder. Our pals at SEVEN STORE have dived headfirst into a hefty Summer Sale, with some items being up to 75% off. We can pretend to be mad about this, but obviously we’re not really. There’s loads of good stuff to be had for an absolute bargain, and we’ve put our favourite picks below:

Daiwa Tech Backpacker Down Gilet

Had our eyes on this Daiwa Gilet ever since it came onto SEVEN STORE’s website, and by some small miracle, it’s still in stock now. The colour on this is tremendous, and the construction might be even better. Puffy, bright, equipped with beautifully chunky pockets and now over half price off.

C.P. Company 50 Fili Stretch Multi-Pocket Overshirt

We won’t lie to you. Even when C.P. Company stuff goes on sale, it’s still not that cheap. But there’s good reason for the hefty price tag – where else could you possibly find an overshirt with a goggle on the arm? Plus, once you break this down into pockets-per-pound, it really doesn’t seem so expensive.

Nike LD-1000

Get a slice of Nike history for just £39. We shouldn’t need to say anything more than that.

thisisneverthat Field Pant

Maybe we’re just suckers for military-jargon-inspired marketing, but adding ‘Field‘ to the name of a jacket or pair of trousers makes us at least 17.5% more likely to buy it. Combine that with a £70 price reduction, and that figure jumps up to 73%.

Manastash Pumice Lure T-shirt

Who’s arsed about joining a run club these days? Fishing clubs are where it’s at, and for the low price of £39, you can join Manastash’s.

Universal Works Seamless Knit

Inspired by ’70s knitwear, this Universal Works sweater is about as good as they come. Thick collar ribbing, beautiful deep blue colour, and a lovely cotton blend. Yours for just £139.

Nanga DotAir Comfy Zip Jacket

Here’s another one we’ve had our eye on for a while. This Nanga DotAir jacket seems like the sort of thing you’d never, ever take off. Lightweight enough for summer, but with enough weather-resistance that it can be worn & layered long into the depths of winter.

Nike Air Humara QS

The Humara is one of those Nike shoes that everyone should own a pair of in their lifetime. Originally designed to conquer muddy trails & meaty hiking routes back in 1997, they now function perfectly for commutes through cities with unpredictable weather. Yeah, we’re on about Manchester. Had torrential rain about an hour ago, and now it’s well sunny – a pair of these would have come in handy.

South2 West8 Packable Parka Jacket

A beautifully simple South2 West8 packable jacket that is now well over half price.

Service Works Espresso T-shirt

Unless you’re an old Italian man donning a sparse moustache and flip-flops, a great deal of being into espresso is pretending. No one really likes it, do they? Just like bitter black muck. Anyway, if you are one of those people who pretend they’re into it, this Service Works tee is invaluable.

New Balance Abzorb 2010

Mental how these haven’t sold out. Even more mental that they’re now in SEVEN STORE’s sale for just £89.

Purple Mountain Observatory Waves Gilet Vest

This is a purchase that will be universally appreciated by friends and family. Your mum will think it looks smart. Your dad will want to borrow it to go to the driving range. And your mates will probably copy you and buy the same one in a different colour. Bastards.

Noah Arch Applique Hoodie

No frills attached zip-hoodie by Noah. Perfect for pessimists who frequently find themselves at the dentist.
