KARHU AW25 Fusion XC Pack – Built the Finnish Way

For their latest drop, KARHU have linked up with Helsinki outfit Minestrone Workshop, a young collective tucked away in the northern district of Vallila. These are the kind of people who spend their days wrangling raw timber with big bits of machinery, so naturally, when it came to shoes, the Fusion XC was the fit.

Chunky, rugged, and unapologetically practical, the Fusion XC is built for graft but still carries that nostalgic KARHU charm. It’s a retro runner at heart, but one retooled for today, with tough fabrics up top, a lugged outsole underneath, and a taped M-logo lifted from the ’96 Fusion AP. Even the sole unit nods to KARHU’s archive, reviving the T-profile pattern first seen on classics like the Synchron.

Marrying the workshop to the general city aesthetic, this is Finnish functionality, with a bit of flair.
