KEEN introduces new colourways of daily uniform shoe

Whether you like it or not, you will develop some sort of daily uniform across the course of your existence. It’s natural – without even knowing, you’ll gravitate toward a certain kind of ensemble you’re more comfortable with than others. Then, before you know it, people are asking you silly questions like ‘When was the last time you washed that hoodie?‘ And ‘is that the only pair of shoes you own?

To earn a place in the daily uniform, clothing and footwear generally need to either fit well, function effortlessly, or deliver unmatched levels of comfort – and KEEN’s Jasper somehow manages to do all three at once. Which is why the humble low-profile shoe has worked its way into the hearts (and onto the feet) of every Proper worker that comes through the door. Seriously, I’m wearing a pair as I write this. Excuse the horrible carpet.

Anyway, following the launch of the Jasper Zionic Energy Pack earlier this year, KEEN is once again back with a handful of fresh colourways, this time focusing on the Jasper, as well as its very similar-looking-cousin only-with-stretchier-laces, the Jasper Rocks.

First introduced 17 years ago, the Jasper was born from KEEN’s knack for hybrid thinking – merging the rugged durability of approach shoes with the distinctive toe-to-tongue lacing and bold hues of classic climbing footwear. The fruits of their labour produced a shoe that can go up hills, across streets and refuses to be worn less than once a week.

While climbing shoe tech has evolved over the last 17 years, the Jasper hasn’t had to. The beauty lies within its simplicity – it’s one of those rare pieces of design that doesn’t need reinventing – just reimagining – and the latest FW25 colourways do just that. A selection of deep winter greens, rich purples, and earthy tones means there’s now a Jasper or Jasper Rocks fit for whatever lifestyle you may lead.

And because KEEN understands that versatility is the cornerstone of wearability, both the Jasper and Jasper Rocks come with two sets of laces, meaning you can switch things up without needing a new pair. And owning one shoe that does the job of three isn’t just good for daily uniform sceptics – it’s also planet-friendly.

So it doesn’t matter whether you’re spending the majority of this winter trekking to the office, halfway up a hill, or holed up in a firelit boozer; there’s now a Jasper (or Jasper Rocks) that will work for all three scenarios, and about a hundred more. We’re not joking when we say they might just be the most wearable pieces of footwear in existence.
