Living in Britain, news from Goodlids always seems to arrive at the absolute worst possible moment. To my left, I’m watching rain smash itself against our office windows – as if it has been the last 32-days. To my right, my screen is full of bronzed Kiwis wandering through one of their countless stunning national parks. Sometimes, life feels very unfair.
