As we’re getting proper excited about heading down to our beloved capital this weekend to check out the Jacket Required tradeshow, we thought we’d get a head start on all the action by asking a few cheeky and pertinent questions…
As long time fans and collectors of menswear deity Massimo Osti’s various iconic labels, it’s comforting to know that his legacy is in safe sartorial hands
Given our combined hobbies of traisping around areas of outstanding natural beauty of a weekend and trying to simultaneously look really cool whilst we ramble around, it’s perhaps no suprise how much we rate Diemme footwear. Not only does it do it’s job in providing excellent support for all your outdoorsy needs, they also look fantastic.
If there are two things that have been constants in my life, it’s Clarks Originals and reggae music, getting into both of them from a very early age, they’ve stuck with me through thick and thin. Two reliable old friends in an increasingly inconsistent and crazy world.
Its always good to find out about a new label, especially when it comes from one of our favourite cities and looks as good (or should that be ‘grand’?) as this stuff. We’ve seen lots of highly respected designers featuring great accessories made from Irish materials of late so it’s really nice to see an actual Irish label at last..
As a local lad made good we can’t believe it took us a couple of issues before we got in touch with Dominic Stansfield. It’s not just the local angle that appeals though. His clothes are and always have been blessed with bags of character and individual without getting anywhere near the realms of looking daft. Quite the opposite in fact. It’s all ace. So we had a chat.
