I wish I had a grandad called Alejandro. Ideally he’d be Mexican and have a ranch somewhere out in the wilderness (miles away from all the scary af Narcos) where we’d sit around the campfire chatting about the time he met Frida Kahlo whilst drinking horchata. Sadly neither of my grandads are still alive nor were they from Mexico (one was from Salford and the other from Dublin) so I’ll console myself with this grandad shirt named Alejandro from A.P.C.. Then maybe I’ll get myself one of those burrito kits, a few bottles of Pacifico and try to conjure up my own personal Mexican grandad.
