OK I’m going to go out on a limb a little here and make an assumption that this incredible denim shirt from Acne Studios is named after the legendary Christopher Isherwood who just happens to be from my home town of Stockport. The author of the novel that inspired Cabaret, a contemporary of W.H. Auden and best mates with Truman Capote and this is exactly the type of shirt I can imagine him wearing whilst hanging out in Hollywood during the 1950s. It’s also the type of shirt that I’d really like to wear, maybe with a nice crew neck lambswool jumper and some cords, who knows I might even be inspired to write a book.
