This sublime spring-time collaboration puts me in mind of one of my favourite ever albums ‘The Old & the New‘ by A Certain Ratio. For the old we have the Campus 80, a legend on basketball courts and squares of lino alike back in t’day with the Highsnob consortium version omitting the trademark suede in favour of a never-seen-before glove leather upper and contrasting butter soft tan leather lining. Whilst in the new camp we have the UltraBOOST, a genuine running trainer that will help you to win marathons that has also become rather popular away from the finish line and bottles of powerade. This stunning taupe version features a killer knitted upper with a matching real leather cage that encapsulates the kind of luxury more appreciated by aesthetes rather than athletes. Despite my love of old-school trainers and the fact that those Campus would probably look proper ace with just about anything, I actually reckon the UltraBOOST have the slight edge here, what do you reckon?
