adidas Consortium ZX 4000 OG

Since its birth in the late eighties, adidas’ ZX Series has become one of the brand’s most globally recognised series. It’s a collection that underwent years of engineering in the late 80s, a guinea pig with innovation and technical designs, some that have remained since and can be seen on the modern ZX Flux.

Their 1989 running classic ZX 4000 though, is about as iconic as they get and it’s this silhouette that’s set to be reissued. Housing a suede and nylon mesh upper in its signature colour palette of grey, black and bright cyan, the trainer also boasts a a lime Torsion lace lock with the logo on the midsection.

It’s a gentle nod to the brilliance of the original ZX 4000 of ’89, with a delicious modern day twist.

They’re available at selected stores from December 8th. Keep them peeled.

Absolutely well into house plants.
