adidas Originals Jeans Release

adidas’ Jeans line started way back in 1975. It was marketed at people who wanted to wear jeans, which sounds ridiculous now, but back then not everyone did. There were two initial models: the MKI and the MKII. The shoes were sleek and thin – a contrast with other trainers at the time.

In 2016, adidas re-released the MKII in a couple of colourways and a few modern additions. This pair, in collegiate navy and red with gold detailing, released through Oi Polloi, is a variation on the MKII with front and back leather detailing, the original Jeans tread, and gold emboss logo on the side.
