adidas Skateboarding World Cup Skate Copa

It’s that wonderful time of the week when we hook up with our brother Joey at Working Class Heroes to find out what’s really going down up in Ulverston. True to form he’s got some insightful information on the latest World Cup inspired drop from adidas Skateboarding and it goes a little something like this….

Give adidas an excuse to celebrate anything and they’ll be right on it. adidas Skateboarding have done some footy jerseys before, a couple years ago, as a homage to the European Cup, but this time they’ve gone all out with the big guns, memorializing the 2018 World Cup with a fresh line of football-inspired tops which have some proper retro vibes with Climalite technology – skateboarders are athletes too!

This new collection of celebratory tees are individualized to a pro skater on adidas’ team, such as a naughty pink number modeled on an old school long sleeved top, stylized to Blondey McCoy’s suave persona, or a more classically coloured black top from skateboarding veteran Marc Johnson. Others include Na-Kel, Silas and Daewon, along with a top from the one and only Gonz, who has also contributed the artwork to the whole range in his own, unique style.

The range has just been released, a little over a month away from kick off, where England will be playing Tunisia on the 18th of June. Place a bet and show your support for football, but remember to skate your troubles away should things not go our way.
