I really love trainers like this me, they’re the kind of shoe you’d wear to play badminton in if you were an inmate in a Corsican prison. Though this wonderful marriage of sandy suede and gorgeous gum (and it’s accompanying capsule collection) is all about 1980s hip hop when it comes to inspiration. Named the Union Garwen SPZL they also represent where East Lancs meets West Coast, as they’re a collaboration between the mighty Spezial division of adidas and L.A.s Union store.
