Adsum x Merrell 1TRL MTL Long Sky

It’s the end of an era for Adsum and Merrell, as the pair close their trio of collaborations with the 1TRL MTL Long Sky.

You know what they say: one door shuts and another one opens. Adsum and Merrell have declared that their late-2021-through-early-2022 love story has come to an end.

The first collaboration – and the one that got the ball rolling – was the Hut Moc, an outdoor/indoor fusion that was designed for pure comfort and relaxing by a fire. The next shoe – the one that set hearts on fire – was the Moab Mid 2, a fully waterproof GORE-TEX boot that sang in the hues of the hills.

For their final collaboration, the two brands have released an appropriate shoe for spring weather, based on the Long Sky, an archive piece from Merrell’s Test Lab, designed by ultrarunner Anna Frost, winner of the Hardrock 100 and Transvulcania.

The 1TRL MTL Long Sky isn’t just for running, however, as the silhouette looks just as good on the city’s concrete as it does on the trails or forest floor. With an Adsum play on Merrell’s side branding, the hardy Vibram-fused, TPU-laden, highly breathable, quickly drying trainer defies clear boundaries. It’s best just to think of it as an all-rounder that works in any scenario.

Head to Oi Polloi before they’re gone.
