Adsum: Verrazano Capsule Collection

This past year has seen me become obsessed with road running to the point I actually own a pair of running sunglasses. I don’t know why I own them and I haven’t worn them since I was mocked last summer, yet it’s never been forgotten. However, this inherently uncool buy has now become quite the opposite thanks to the good people at Adsum and their new Verrazano Capsule Collection that features a similar pair.

Adsum is a brand that makes the uncool cool, they make the unacceptable acceptable, which is why my obsession with what they’re doing is showing no sign of letting up anytime soon.

The Verrazano Capsule Collection is everything great about Adsum, it’s clothing inspired by great people, in homage of good things and this time it’s celebrating Frank Lebow (below) and the New York Marathon.

Frank Lebow was born in Romania and moved to New York after he escaped the Holocaust during World War II. He took on the name Fred Lebow and became the founder the city’s marathon in 1970 (Adsum themselves did a mega blog on him here, which is well worth the read).

For now though – and before learning about Lebow and his legacy – below are images from Adsum’s excellent Verrazano Collection that you can buy here, just in time for some summer running. Wonderful stuff.

Absolutely well into house plants.
