Have you read Skagboys by Irvine Welsh yet? If the answer is no then you really should do because it’s just as good as Trainspotting. If the answer is yes then you may recall the character ‘Seeker’ who I imagined looks exactly like the bloke here modelling Alan Paine’s summery range of pique shirts. Although I’m sure this hirstute model is the polar opposite of his fictitious Edinburgh doppelganger and to be fair he dresses a lot better than him too. Inspired by the British countryside for this season Alan Paine have pushed their use of colour to new boundaries and given their most loved styles a twist using splashes of vibrant colour to give their traditional silhouettes a modern edge. Nice eh?
