As a confirmed Francophile I was a bit gutted to watch the final episode of Rick Stein’s ‘Secret France’ last night and to hear about David Prichard passing away RIP. So in order to cheer myself up and fulfil my ongoing Gallic garment needs I’ve decided to get a new smother from Armor-Lux. Appropriately named after an area of Brittany that gets more than it’s fair share of rain the Penmarch is a classic yellow rain jacket constructed from the French brand’s own waterproof Armortec fabric. It’s a classic piece that’s very reasonably priced enough to leave me enough change to buy a baguette some Pont L’eveque and a nice bottle of Pastis. Salut!
